East Riding firm receives unique accolade from electronice giant

Hull-based office technology supplier Gemtec is celebrating after gaining a unique accolade from electronics giant Sharp.

Gemtec, one of the region’s leading suppliers of Sharp document management systems including state-of-the-art photocopiers, faxes, scanners and printers have been awarded Preferred Supplier Status, by Sharp for their continuing support for their products.

Eric Shackleton, sales director for Gemtec, is delighted with the award as it means they will be one of the first on the list for cutting-edge machines from Sharp.

Mr Shackleton said: “This award is great, not only does it mean we have the backing of a well-respected organisation, it also means our stock will always be the most up-to-date, which is important when you sell digital technology.
